PLant a church

At the Arizona Network we are passionate about working alongside church planters to help them build a solid foundation for their new endeavors. We've compiled a list of steps that we've found to be particularly helpful in establishing thriving, healthy churches. We kindly ask that you take note of these recommendations and, if possible, follow them in the suggested order. We're excited to join you on this journey and look forward to seeing your church flourish!

1. Get to Know uS

Church planting is all about relationships within your community. We’d love to get to know you and hear your heart for reaching Arizona. The best way to do this is to schedule a time to meet with some of our leadership. The quickest way to do this is to contact our office at 602.343.4000 to schedule a time to meet. Here we’ll get a chance to answer questions and find the best ways to partner moving forward.

2. Pursue assemblies of god credentials

The Arizona Ministry Network believes we are better together. Credentials with the Assemblies of God is an important aspect of being part of our fellowship. Every AG minister goes through a process of education, experience, and mentoring to make sure you are the best version of yourself and can reach your community for the long haul. Getting started is easy, you can contact our credentialing team to get started by emailing credentials@azag.org.

3. attend a CMN launch Event

You are not alone in your desire to reach a new community. The Church Multiplication Network is the church planting arm of the Assemblies of God. They provide world class training and funding to church planters. We have partnered with them to make sure every church planter in Arizona gets access to their resources. To learn more about when their next church planting training event is visit The Church Multiplication Network or click the button at the bottom of this page!

4. develop a ministry plan

At your CMN Launch Event you and your team will work with coaches to develop a plan to reach your specific community. You’ll work through things like how to fund your church, how to engage your community, and how to develop a strong team. They’ll even walk you through how to find a partner church to help walk with you through your journey.

5. Launch you Church

Once you’ve met our team, obtained your credentials, and completed the necessary training you will be in a great position to launch your church. We’ll be there to cheer you on and work with you after to provide ongoing relationships and support as your home network. We look forward to what God wants to do through your team.
