Youth Alive exists to REACH EVERY STUDENT AND EVERY SCHOOL.

Our goal is to empower STUDENTS TO REACH STUDENTS SO THAT EVERY STUDENT KNOWS JESUS.

WE ARE NOT A PARA-CHURCH ORGANIZATION, WE WORK TO SEE FIRST-TIME SALVATION ON CAMPUS AND CONNECTION TO A LOCAL CHURCH.

Meet the director

Jiovan (Yoyo) Garcia

“My name is Jiovan, but trust me - “Yoyo” is easier. I’ve been involved in ministry for my entire life - serving with my family as a Youth Pastor’s kid at different churches. I felt the call of God for ministry in my own life during a Youth Camp around 14-16 years old. Since then, I’ve been pursuing Youth Ministry.

I have been serving the Youth of Arizona since I can remember. Most recently, I served as the High School Director at Twentynine Eleven Church’s Tribe Youth Ministry. I now continue to serve there on the media team.

I was honored when Christian Chambliss brought me on the Youth Alive Team as a communicator to the schools. I am now humbled to serve as the Youth Director for Arizona.

Outside of Youth Alive, I am just an Arizona guy that loves God, people, and coffee.”

In a world where students are coming to church less and less, leading a life-giving campus club bringS the church to the school. It is our goal to have a life-giving campus club in every school.

SOCIAL MEDIA INITIATIVE

SOCIAL MEDIA CAN BE USED AS METHOD OF CAUSING VIRAL FEAR, INSECURITY, AND OTHER FORMS NEGATIVITY. WHAT IF WE CHANGED THE WAY WE VIEWED SOCIAL MEDIA, AND INSTEAD USED OUR PLATFORMS TO PUBLISH THE GOOD NEWS. WE BELIEVE SHARING THE GOSPEL THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, CAN BRING JESUS TO HOUSES, AND ROOMS THAT HE HAS NEVER BEEN BEFORE! CONSIDER BEING A PART OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM!

MISSIONAL LIVING

SHARING JESUS WITH THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW HIM IS THE MOST BASIC YET MOST SIGNIFICANT RESPONSIBILITY OF ANY CHRIST FOLLOWER. WHETHER ONLINE OR IN THE LUNCH LINE, WE ARE ASKING GOD FOR A MOVEMENT OF STUDENTS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO REACHING EVERY STUDENT, AND EVERY SCHOOL! THIS HAPPENS WHEN A YOUNG PEOPLE MAKE THE DECISION TO LIVE LIFE, ON MISSION!

The Youth Alive One Day, is OUR ANNUAL one day conference HELD EVERY AUGUST. OUR VISION IS TO MOBILIZE STUDENTS TO REACH STUDENTS SO THAT EVERY STUDENT AND EVERY SCHOOL CAN KNOW JESUS!

ARIZONA SEVEN PROJECT

One of the most exciting ways that Youth Alive gets to team up with THE LOCAL church is through THE SEVEN PROJECT. Picture everyone in your school hearing a positive, challenging message in the morning, and hearing the message of the Gospel at night. Maybe God could use you to bring in this life-changing day into your school. We'd love to PARTNER with you to bring THE SEVEN PROJECT to your school.
